According to a recent Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report, the fastest 4G download speed was recorded in April on Reliance Jio’s network. According to a new report released by TRAI, upload speed of the country’s third largest telecom company Idea Cellular has been found to be the fastest. Idea recorded the fastest upload 4G speed with 8.45 megabytes per second (MBPS) in May. TRAI has confirmed this through the MySpeed App.
Airtel is at the bottom:
Following the Idea, Vodafone 4G upload speed of 7.33 MBPS, followed by Jio’s upload speed of 5.26 MBPS. Airtel’s the largest telecom company recorded average upload speed of 4.64 MBPS in May. Shashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer of Idea Cellular, said, “TRAI’s MySpeed results confirm that Idea customers are more like making video downloads, music, gaming, live streaming on the Internet.”
Jio was at the top in April:
According to an earlier report, the fastest 4G download speed has been recorded in April on Reliance Jio’s network. According to TRAI, Jio recorded 19.12 megabytes per second (Mbps) speed in April. This is the highest speed ever so far. If seen, this speed is better than last month’s Speed (18.48 Mbps). According to statistics, Jio remains the first place in this list for the fourth consecutive month.
