TRAI Will Open PDO Booth For Wi-Fi Like PCO at 2 Rupees Cost

NewDelhi: Telecom Regulatory Agency TRAI is now preparing to provide cheap Internet in India. After this, users will be able to run the internet in 2 Rs. In fact, TRAI plans to launch a Wi-Fi service based on Pay As You Go. Applications have been sought from companies for this. Initially, plans will be kept from Rs 2 to Rs 20. To use the Internet, you will need KYC and One Time Password. After this the users will be able to enjoy the internet. Information about its starting is not yet disclosed. This service will be known as Public Data Office (PDO). These public data offices will be like the PCO booth connecting India to the phone.

The aim of launching Wi-Fi service on behalf of TRAI is to make the internet available at cheap rates and easily to the peoples. TRAI believes that this will help to limit the number of towers in one area. This type of Wi-Fi service is also available in America and France. To join the pilot project from TRAI, the companies were asked to send their information till July 25. After this the further process will be completed.

Facebook also launched Find Wi-Fi service
Recently, social networking site Facebook launched ‘Find Wi-Fi’ service for its users. Through this service, the user can locate the free Wi-Fi hotspot nearby and play Wi-Fi. For this, you have to go to the More section of the Facebook app, where you will see the option of ‘Find Wi-Fi’. After clicking on it, a map will open in front of you, it will know about the Wi-Fi hotspot around your location. After that you will be able to use Wi-Fi.
